“Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity.” (Habakkuk 1: 13)
“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” (John 1: 3)
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1: 2)
I believe there is one Power of Love and Goodness that is the Source of all life. I call this Power, God. God is perfect. I believe what God has created is good and perfect for all time. God doesn’t make mistakes. God only needs to do something once and it’s good for all time. God is all knowing; He doesn’t need to learn any lessons.
We say we are God in manifestation and we are here to express God in every way. We say we are free to create like God. In that case how come we don’t get things right the first time? Why do we have repeated experiences so we can either learn from them or in order for us to put things right?
Did God create the world we perceive with our senses? If God did then it should be God’s image and likeness i.e. perfect. There should be no death or decay, no beginning and ending, because that which is perfect is eternal and good for all time. We should bear witness to a world of constant beauty. Trees should always be in full bloom. You pluck an apple from a tree and it should grow right back because perfection is always full and complete. We should never experience disease, aging and death. Our bodies should always be beautiful, flawless and in radiant health. We should always be full of joy.
The reality of life on earth is it is geared towards failure and imperfection. This is why we have businesses specialising in the Law, the Armed Forces, Medicine, Healing, Insurance, Manufacturing and Repair, Education to name but a few.
Why would a God who doesn’t make mistakes need the Law?
Why would a God of love need the Armed Forces?
Why would a God of perfection need medicine or healing?
Why would a God of love need insurance?
Why would a God who doesn’t make mistakes need something fixed?
Why would a God who is all knowing need to be taught?
This suggests that the world we are experiencing right now could not have been created by God because that which is perfect cannot make mistakes. If not God, who created the world? What God did not create does not exist.
How is that possible, you cry? I can see, feel, hear, taste, and smell this reality. It’s very much real to me. How can it not exist? It exists in your mind because you’re imagining it is real. But perfection cannot create imperfection. God does not make mistakes.
It doesn’t make sense. How come this world feels so real to me if it doesn’t exist?
There are many examples of experiencing something that is not real but believing it is. For example, you have a headache and it feels very much real to you. Your senses tell you the pain is real. But think about it. If you are really living in a reality that is perfection and love, would love want you to experience pain?
But I still feel the pain. It feels very much real.
It feels very much real because you are holding it in place by believing it exists. It’s no use calling out to God to heal you! A God of perfection would not recognise a headache He did not create. A God that sees pain and suffering is a false god not God. God’s answer to anyone suffering is to show you what is really present. God’s answer is always: “I am love, you are love, all is love.”
But the pain still persists?
All is love.
It feels very real to me.
All is love.
Love casts out all fear. Love dissolves dreams of pain and suffering. Love is reality.
But I feel as if I’m stuck in this reality that God never created. How can I get out of it?
Recognise that God is all there is; God is perfection and Perfection cannot make mistakes.
Since God is all there is, it must be God living life.
If God is living life, then God will not contemplate imperfection.
God only needs to create once and whatever it is, is perfect and good for all time.
I’ve done all you’ve suggested but I’m still having the same experience of pain.
So what if your body is screaming out in pain. Don’t give it any attention. No matter what your senses tell you, ignore them. Instead, focus on the truth: God doesn’t make mistakes; Perfection is always perfect.
Persist with the truth and the illusion will dissolve. But persist you must.
If God is right where I am, don’t I have to persist with the truth once?
Touché. You make a very good point though. You only need to contemplate that truth once and then focus only on God.
Oh, there will be many who will try to distract you. They’ll think you’ve gone nuts. Just focus on the truth: God is love.
And finally, because God does not make mistakes, God always gets it right first time. Therefore, reincarnation is not an option; it is another dream. You are here to live for eternity because life is never ending. There is nowhere else to run or hide; there is only here.
God doesn’t make mistakes.
God is love.
God is all there is.
